Inditex to Launch First Stores in Iraq by End of 2025

Spanish fashion giant Inditex, parent company of Zara, will open its first stores in Iraq in late 2025 as part of its global expansion strategy. The launch will take place inside the massive Iraq Mall in Baghdad, which is set to feature 350 stores, restaurants, residential units, and a luxury hotel.
Iraq will become Inditex’s 215th market and the 98th to host physical retail stores. All major Inditex brands—including Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear, and Massimo Dutti—will be part of the rollout.
This expansion reflects the group’s ongoing strategy to optimize its physical and digital retail channels, offering a full omnichannel experience to Iraqi consumers for the first time.
